Why I Love Coaching—and How This Passion Could Support You

Hi Friend,

I love coaching. Why? Because I help people create real, transformational change that makes life feel better. Coaching is one of the best-kept secrets for personal growth. The changes that unfold aren’t always visible on the surface—but they ripple inward. A deep sense of peace, calm, and a quiet confidence begins to grow. Over time, that inner shift helps people build a life that often exceeds their expectations.

One of the foundations of coaching is holding unconditional positive regard for every client. That means, no matter how big or daunting your goal may seem, I genuinely believe in your capacity to grow and change. Not from blind optimism, but from lived experience—because I see these transformations happen all the time.

Many of the people who come to work with me are in the thick of it. Life feels heavy. They’re overwhelmed and stretched thin. They care deeply about the people around them but often put themselves last. They give endlessly—to their work, their families, their communities—yet feel drained and depleted. Their personal boundaries have blurred, and they find themselves stuck in cycles of self-neglect, even though their hearts are full of care.

Imagining a New Possible Way of Being

When someone shows up in this space, I invite them to imagine something different. Not a perfect life—but one that feels lighter, more aligned. I remember a client who once told me her goal was to “better manage the crud of life,” to meet her own needs and manage her energy more intentionally. She wanted to set boundaries when dealing with other people’s problems, so she could refill her own cup first. What she was really seeking was to feel happier, more fulfilled, and more connected to who she truly is.

Goals like that can feel far away—maybe even impossible. That’s where coaching shines. We walk the journey together. Through evidence-based approaches, we not only define the vision but uncover what truly matters to you. Often, people say things like:

“I want to feel more present with the people I love.”

“I want to make my well-being a priority, not an afterthought.”

“I want to feel grounded, like I’m living in alignment with my values.

“I want to reconnect with my purpose.”

” I want to be more present”

The Magic of Coaching

Once your vision and values are clear, we start to map out a path. Nothing overwhelming—just small, meaningful steps. This is where the magic lives. Clients often get immersed in the process. We meet regularly to identify personalized goals—not ones I assign, but ones you create, that actually fit your life.

(You wouldn’t believe the number of personalized goals I have helped  people set  around cleaning—because their surroundings often reflect their mental state and clean house is a cleaner mental state for them.)

Over time, these steps add up. And then something beautiful happens.

The Beauty of Coaching

Usually, two or three months or sometimes more, I’ll hear a client reflect on the changes they’ve made. Without even realizing it, they start describing the exact vision they set a few months ago. That’s one of my favorite moments as a coach. I’ll gently ask, “Can I read you the goal you set during our first session?”, something they usually forgot about.

I’ll read it back to them—like I did for the client who wanted to “better manage the crud of life,” meet her needs, set boundaries, and feel fulfilled. And almost every time, there’s a pause. A quiet moment of awe. Then something like: “Wow… I not only reached that goal—I exceeded it.”

That’s why I love coaching.

It helps people who feel like better is so far out of reach to become the leader of their own lives. To take back agency. To live more intentionally, with clarity and courage. And in doing so, they reconnect with what matters most—their relationships, their health, their purpose… and most importantly, themselves.
